Meeting in the Noosphere

No sound of her voice

He has never touched her skin

Unspoken promise

 

To show up and be

So present to each other

Human need to love

 

Ground shakes beneath her

When she wonders what is real

The space in between

 

Or the particles

That make the curve of her heart…

Draw so close to his

 

The term Noosphere was coined by Teilhard de Chardin, a Jesuit Paleontologist, many years before computers and the internet were even imagined. To Teilhard, the biosphere concerned all that was biological, chemical, or physical on earth. The noosphere was the sphere of human thought, the mind of the earth. You can read more about it here.
