A Black Hole

In the deepest well

There are no shadows, only echoes

Darkness swallows light

I am a mirror

It is not a matter of  a handhold

Only of surrender

Crystal shattering

Shards spinning into black

Cut diamond surrounded by sea

Disappearing into Existence

“Darkness is not dark for you, and shines as the day. Darkness and light are one.”

(Psalm 139:12)

I love this poem and this line especially.
A couple of years ago I wrote my way through memories of a long past relationship and this sort of imagery surfaced. I’ve never posted it – thank you for reminding me – maybe time to revisit and release it 🙂

      1. Thank you Maria – I’d appreciate your thoughts 🙂 I love finding out the meanings others read into my work – sometimes similar to me – sometimes things I’d never imagined. Its a wonderful creative process.
I wonder how much I’ll want to re-work it now that there’s less emotion and more craft at work… I’ll look into it.
