Luce

The slow stream is choked

With the litter of the past

Ripples and eddies

.

My love is diffuse

Trickling through the branches

While you seek brilliance

      1. In a previous job after I left the classroom, I did a lot of word-smithing for a publishing company. I had to reword and rephrase passages that were too long so they fit into smaller totals and still retained their meaning. That sentence would not survive intact.

I actually enjoyed the task. It felt very good taking a 250 word passage and smithing it into 100.
