there is a spider
who aspires
to be a scorpion.
does it matter
where the sting
originates?
heads or tails?
.
it is still
a venom,
an achirality
that knocks the wind
from your lungs,
leaving agonizing
tracks
in the sand.

Our words can be venomous. Whether they are spoken or written, defensive or provocative. Meeting aggression with aggression simply adds to the world’s negativity and pain. Choose instead to inspire, breathe the life of the Creator together…diffuse the anger and bring true peace.

Well said, Gianna. Just a few breaths before we speak can reshape the future.

Thank you, I learned a new word. Achirality. And yes “Our good fortune comes from our hearts, and our bad fortune from our mouths” – Buddhist saying 🙂
