Blind Raging (Tanka)

the world wails and flails

wallowing in the anguish

of  isolation,

firmly blind to the comfort

of the warm hand in its own.

  2. I see a deep truth here – loneliness is our 21st-century malady. I walk in my neighborhood and see wonderful homes and wonder if anyone is home. People impose isolation and its accompanying loneliness. Human touch eases loneliness; the touch of one hand grasping another until the other realizes it is grasped. Thank you for deep insight.
