Breadths

dimensions,

capture gravity,

a curling corolla of light,

that i trace with a lazy finger,

in the half-slumber twilight.

you offer the yield of life,

aware sweetness

 entices,

yet the bitter rind

nourishes wise sensitivity.

i bend to your narrative of heart,

mine, and ours, and world.

breath, crest to trough,

closed-lid cocoon.

and i awaken.

.
