Man on Sand

you wear

the dignity of depth,

your gaze,

a warm heat,

penetrating

the mirage

of tumultuous life,

as you heft its weight,

Atlas of the moment.

.

while i

trace wistful circles,

ten digits

in the dust,

you brush

from my cheek.

and i resolve

to meet

your heart

in the oasis of Soul.

.

between worlds,

and lives,

and breaths,

we will curl the linear,

draw poles

to center,

and love

universes

and potentialities

into existence,

i-thou

One

in the midst

of the mundane.

.
