Dream Moon

hardened shell discarded

for a whorled chamber.

shifting pebbles fizz

in free fall,

on a velvet-pleated tide.

.

to dive

and resurface,

with the blessing of breath,

with twine and shuttle

to mend the veiling sheared,

as otherworld daystars

pulsate in my open palms.

.

precious crystalized tears

and cetacean moans

lull to sleep

all human fears.

.
