Negatives

red light exposure,

as i anticipate

the descending weight,

an exquisite strain,

and rush of breath.

the aching press

that conforms to the curves

beneath the surface film.

.

on the silk screen

of monochrome skin

we paint perceptions,

contrast and hue,

waves of rising

temperature.

.

sidewinding,

entwining outlines,

we tenderly brush

the charcoal lines

of merged sensation

coming

to find the strength

to raise the bar.

.

In maintaining the health of the body, we are caring for a microcosm of the universe, a form of self-love that includes the other.
