you are an image of me,

entwined as intimately

as silk that wraps my thighs,

as i assume a demure disguise.

for who would ever believe,

the strength i have in me,

a resiliency of heart,

though i refuse to dress the part.

Our greatest strength is found in the ability to be authentic and intimate in connection with self and other. That is a power of nature that we all share, a garment woven on the interior.
