Swept

i left parts of her

drifting on the tide,

pieces of the relational,

emotive and sensual,

buried beneath

the silt of the mudflats.

naked and blind,

mole rats and side winders

hear her breathe

in infrared plumes.

coins in the well,

words strewn,

never to be bartered,

but to be burned

beneath a full ash moon.

i will scatter her dust

in my wild hair,

and come to you anew.
