robed in a stance of love

i am bared to the onslaught

of lesser currents,

trivial ripples that cripple

with a cacophony of clutter,

threatening to tear

a fragile integrity asunder.

i could not face

what i could not see,

the only true enemy

nestled within this breast.

shield to chest,

i arch into the darkening sea

to rescue the better part of me.

rising on gift economy,

adorned in generosity,

a purity of energy,

is this reverberating respire

of singular desire,

to be present

in an inward duty,

a revelation of soul beauty

the only home i truly own.
