paint me

with limitations

for the way

you move me

with persuasion

as the world’s coercion

erects towers

to cage an essence

that thrives unseen

i will not groan

when generosity spites me

or the frigid misery

of indifference

drives arctic winds

through the balm

i grow in mastery

of internal destiny

a beauty

from nature’s reciprocity

in the void of silence

you will never cease

to hear me
