Lunar Eclipse

starling tosses feathers

in the breeze,

as i straddle the split sea.

snake spit and June bugs

twiddle thumbs

to an amphibious hum,

a raucous reverie

and you enter me.

cry my true name

as i snap blame,

the fiberous twig

rendering surrendering

to the bark impressions

on this sweet skin.

the oak’s hollow draws in

a cataract of desire

as i weave the fading lines.

i am the knower beyond time,

a soul i give to you,

the feminine light

of the inner moons.
