Craters

as woman

i had forgotten

earth is celestial

as well as terrestrial

and the personal

an expression

of the spiritual

with no reprieve

to take my leave

i bloom

in feminine presence

beneath the crown

of Love’s internal

Radiance

.

Anything, even metaphor, can be collapsed into dogma and doctrine that suppresses a human’s natural inclination to love. Take it back to the feminine, where a deeper abiding trust is born in silence. The moon that you howl to is internal.

  1. Absolutely love this! Very insightful and poignant, particularly in today’s times.
Please feel free to check out my new blog (and maybe subscribe if I’m lucky!) because I’d really like to hear your feedback on it – especially as we clearly share an interest in combining philosophy with art 🙂

      1. My pleasure!

I’m wondering if the Australian Navy has had a woman submarine Commander by now. When my ship made a port call in Perth in 2001, seems to me I saw several female Lieutenant Commanders and their submarine Force. They would be senior enough by now to have had command. I ought to look into that!

        1. I was once on a flight with troops during the Persian Gulf War. Half the troops were from an aircraft carrier and the other half from a submarine. I was on the sub side. Absolutely different feel…centered, silent, considerate. I have not thought of that in years. Everything is on the inside.
